January 6 Brings the Feast of the Epiphany and a dip into our tradition of the Epiphany Pig Roast. This year, like last, no one will stay up all night on Twelfth Night turning the spit, but there’s always next year and hopes of a full-fledged return to a younger generation with a fire pit fetish. But, until then, the roasting will be done by Pig-n-Chick. Bring sides and stay after church for all the fixins’. [Be in touch with Suellen Morse or Marshall Kress with what you can bring] January 13 Will take us outside for a winter walk for the long-awaited Blessing of the Trails coinciding with our January Sunday to bring your dog to church! The music and worship team will center our community focus for the Season of Epiphany around water and light with the font at the center of our gathering and sacramental gestures with fire and light. So, mark your calendars and turn out, but in the meantime, a Merry 12 Days of Christmas!
